I  LAY DOWN NO PRECEPTS

"I repeat, I lay down no precepts. When I release the tide of Truth which I have come to give, men's daily lives will be the living precept. The words I have not spoken will come to life in them.

I veil myself from man by his own curtain of ignorance, and manifest my Glory to a few.
My present Avataric Form is the last Incarnation of this cycle of time, hence my Manifestation will be the greatest.
When I break my Silence, the impact of my Love will be universal and all life in creation will know, feel and receive of it. It will help every individual to break himself free from his bondage in his own way.
I am the Divine Beloved who loves you more than you can ever love yourself. The breaking of my Silence will help you to help yourself in knowing your real self.

All this world confusion and chaos was inevitable and no one is to blame. What had to happen has happened; and what has to happen will happen.
There was and is no way out except through my coming in your midst. I had to come, and I have come. I am the Ancient One".

The God-Man, pg 344-346

FIRST THERE IS INTUITION

"When you feel something as intuition and have no doubt about it, then know it is real. Passing doubtful thoughts and temporary emotional feelings should not be given importance. But when you feel it touches your heart, follow it.

When it is from the mind, it is not intuition. Intuition means that which comes from the heart. In the divine path, first there is intuition, then inspiration, then illumination, and finally Realization. If it touches your heart, follow it. And God willing, from today you will know that if it is intuition it is right.

My love will help you and guide you to understand what is right. Love Baba (God). God wants honest love. He is all honesty and wants honest love. So love Baba (God). God will help you in your quest for the Truth".

HOW TO LOVE GOD
"To love God in the most practical way is to love our fellow beings. If we feel for others in the same way as we feel for our own dear ones, we love God.

If, instead of seeing faults in others, we look within ourselves, we are loving God.

If, instead of robbing others to help ourselves, we rob ourselves to help others, we are loving God.

If we suffer in the sufferings of others and feel happy in the happiness of others, we are loving God. If, instead of worrying over our own misfortunes, we think ourselves more fortunate than many many others, we are loving God.

If we endure our lot with patience and contentment, accepting it as His Will, we are loving God.

If we understand and feel that the greatest act of devotion and worship to God is not to hurt or harm any of His beings, we are loving God.

To love God as He ought to be loved, we must live for God and die for God, knowing that the goal of life is to Love God, and find Him as our own self".

MEHER BABA CALLING

"Births and deaths are illusory phenomena.
One really dies when one is born to live as God the Eternal, Who is beyond both birth and death.
It is easy to love Me because I am Love. But it is difficult to love Me with that love by which I am attained. In this age of mess, My message is:
Hold fast to My daaman and be one hundred per cent honest in every way; because God besides being infinite Power, Knowledge and Bliss is also infinite Honesty. And so, by being honest in everything, you will be able to love God honestly as he ought to be loved.
I will be with you all who gather for My birthday to celebrate My being among you. I am wherever My lovers are.
Let my Message of Love through you lead My children to the shore of My Ocean of Love.
My Love will draw them to Me whose hearts long to have a dip in the Ocean of My Love".

PRAYER FOR GOD

What constitutes the essence of prayer? Many prayers to God are current among the lovers of God, arising as they do from diverse cultural contexts.

Some of the prayers invariably contain an element of asking something from God, either material or spiritual. In fact, God is so merciful and bountiful that even without their asking He always gives much more than His lovers can receive.

He knows their real needs more deeply than they do. Therefore the element of asking something from God is superfluous. It often mars the inner love and worship which a prayer tries to express.

The ideal prayer to the Lord is nothing more than spontaneous praise of His being. You praise Him, not in the spirit of bargain but in the spirit of self-forgetful appreciation of what He really is.

You praise Him because He is praiseworthy. Your praise is a spontaneous appreciative response to His true being, as infinite light, infinite power and infinite bliss. It is futile to attempt a standard prayer and hold it up as an ideal for all people of all times.

The glory of the Almighty transcends all human understanding and defies all verbal descriptions. Eternally fresh and self-renewing in its unlimited amplitude, it never fades. Nor is it ever confined within the limits of the best of hymns.
