Dear Readers,

First of all let me wish you a very Happy New Year 2001. We wish that this year, and ever, Meher Baba's grace may shower and drench the life of one and all. In His blue Bus, driven by Elizabeth Paterson, Meher Baba came to Jabalpur in 1938 at nearly the Christmas time. He stayed here for quite some time, say half a year, almost. With Him were a number of disciples from east and west, and not to mention, dear Mohammed, the Mast.

Meher Baba started a Mast Ashram at Jabalpur, one of His seven such Ashrams in the world. Mast's from far and near were here, with Baba. You will shortly find the last photograph of the Mast Ashram building, with dear Ramarao standing in front of it, on our rare image section. It was just a few years ago, now the buildings is no more, it is under construction as a new multi-storied fancy structure. The one time Mast Ashram was full of activities and Mast's like Gulab Baba of Elichpur, Dada Maharaj of Amravati, Khala Masi from Seoni, Magar Mast, and many more were here. Meher Baba also contacted a few very well known pilgrims like Thanthanpal dada and Dhaniram dada, as well, during His second trip in 1949.

Meher Baba conducted a lot of activities in the local area of Jabalpur, and a few miles away at Mandla. Here at Mandla, He once preferred to build His Samadhi. Our section of Rare-Images would consist of a few photographs of this forgotten Meher Kuti at Mandla, very soon, (which in no way is a pixel different from the "Samadhi" at Meherabad), and the lost Mast Ashram of Jabalpur, and many more images which are rare for the world. But if you are eager, you may write to us asking to mail you the photos as attachment, and I would be happy to do so.

This site is also your's. Please therefore, freely contribute your views, articles, information, news of your area and much more. But do keep visiting us and let us know , what you feel and what changes you want.

The best way to be with us, is to keep reading our Editorial section from time to time. Do keep in touch.

With Best Wishes,

Ever,

Niket Kale
