Meherazad

24th November 1964

Dear Amiya,

Your letter of 19th November received here and it was read out to Beloved Baba. Baba does not like the idea at all of dear Gokaran leaving his job. Baba says He does not like the idea of his giving up his job at all. Baba wants that he should keep on doing his job, and he should not feel despondent. I have no address of dear Gokaran, so therefore I am sending a letter to him through you.

Only today we received letters from Gokaran's brother and father. They want Gokaran now to marry, and they are very eager about it. Baba has given them permission to do so, and they now can go for an early marriage of Gokaran1.

I sent two or three letters to Dr Ram Kumar Varma but he didn't reply to them. He was ready to translate God Speaks into Hindi, but I feel he has still not yet started that work.

We received the letter from Dandi Swami2, and Eruchjee has sent him a reply.

Baba is pleased with you and sends His love to you, Gauri, Mamajee, and His love-filled kiss to Mehernandini3.

Jai Baba

Affectionately yours,

Bhau

1. Amiya: "Just imagine, I am receiving all these letters, and I have to look to the affairs of others."

2. I didn't know about this, that Dandi Swami had corresponded directly with Baba.

3. Can you imagine the good fortune my daughter has now? So many kisses from Baba, all the time.
