"Samadhi-Photo"

Inner view photographs of Meher Baba's "Samadhi" at Meherabad, District Ahmednagar, (MS), India. This Samadhi is situated nearly four kms from Ahmednagar Rly.- Station, on top of a hill called Meherabad Hill. "Samadhi" is open for darshan from 6 a.m. To 8 p.m. Every day.

Meher Baba at Jabalpur

Meher Baba at Jabalpur near the Marble Rocks water-fall on the Christmas day of 1938. Baba stayed at Jabalpur for nearly six months and conducted various activities including opening of a Mast Ashram at Jabalpur.

LORD MEHER

Meher Kuti at Mandla.

Meher Baba constructed this "Meher Kuti" at Mandla nearly 100 kms from Jabalpur during his stay in 1939. This "Meher Kuti" is a replica of Meher Baba's "Samadhi" at Meherabad. Baba was gifted a land with nearly 1 Lakh mango trees at Mandla. Later Baba abandoned the idea of establishing His ashram at Mandla and chose Meherabad for this purpose. Jabalpur Group

Kalemama and Murli Kale.

Kalemama met Meher Baba in 1926. He had a very long association with Baba. Kalemama and his wife both dedicated their life at Meher Baba's feet and passed away at Baba's ashram at Meherabad in 1932 and 1954 respectively. Their son Murli Kale was also with Baba since the prem ashram boys days of 1927. Murli served Baba as a mandali and a New Life Companion. Murli was a qualified Homeopath and worked for Baba in Meherabad dispensory.

Murli's Passport

Murli wanted to take higher education in Homeopathy in England, with the help of his good friend Dr. Donkin. Since Baba permitted him to come to Jabalpur in New Life Circular No: 27, .....

Kalemama's diary

Meher Baba's close disciple and Mandli Kalemama's diary mentioning about his meeting with Shri Sai Baba, Shri Upasni Maharaj, Shri Narayan Maharaj and Meher Baba. The images are of larger size and may take time to load. The text of the diary are in Marathi language.

The rare unpublished Nagpur groups  taken during the 50's showing Baba's old disciples at Nagpur. Dr. C.D. Deshhmukh is also seen in the group.


Magga Shah Baba of Jabalpur

Magga Shah Baba was a very famous Mast of Jabalpur. Meher Baba contacted him during His trip to Jabalpur in 1949. This photograph of Magga shah Baba was made available to us by Mr. Rajkumar Gupta, a noted writer and correspondent of Jabalpur.


Nagpur Group-II

The rare unpublished Nagpur groups  taken during the 50's showing Baba's old disciples at Nagpur. Adi K.Irani, Dr. Abdul Ghani Munsif are seen with others.


New Life Group.

The group was taken before  starting for New Life at Meherabad. The Men Mandali who joined the New Life are seen with Baba, along with a few other Mandali.

Dhaniram Dada of Mandla

Dhaniram dada of Mandla always stayed near the bridge on river Nramada. Baba met him twice in 1939 and 1949. He was very well known in the area and many stories are attributed to him.


Thanthanpal Dada of Mandla

Thanthan pal dada of Mandla was very well known and respected  around Mandla and Jabalpur. Baba met him twice during 1938 and also during His short trip to Jabalpur in 1949.


Miracle of Nature

After Meher Baba dropped His physical form in 1969, a natural image of Meher Baba's face appeared on a Umar Tree  just out side the window of His bedroom. The image was there for a few months and was naturally diminished  with the growth of the new scalings on the tree.
